Tips on How To Spice Up Your Blog and Increase your Readership.
The Blogosphere is saturated with new upcoming tactics of spicing up your blog so that your blog can stand out from the other blogs in a unique and fashionable manner. However finding new ways of spicing up your blog can be really difficult in times where you have to act fact and efficiently.I have another approach. Why cant we borrow the ideas of people whom we admire in our Blogosphere and give them the reward in return to the Ideas that we borrow from them. You see ideas are not invented they are discovered.
Therefore after taking a long break, in which I have been busy in my studies, I have decided to write a post that tells bloggers how to spice up their blog by borrowing tips from some very famous bloggers and rewarding the.
Here go all the tips.
Tip 1: Create A Static Random Read Headline:This tactic impressed me the most as it makes your blog look unique and like a knowledge database. I found it on RishiRajs Blog and I found it really interesting and informative for blog readers. The best thing about this tactic, that Rishi has adopted, is that the headline news ticker makes your blog look more like a article industry and whether or not you like the article headline or not you are curious to click it and read it.
I am not exactly sure what plugin Rishi is using for the Random Read but I assume he must be using the Random Post Plugin by WASABITip 2: Create a Dynamic Random Post Ticker:
Similar to the above tip but quite different in look and feel as it provides you with a totally dynamic Random post ticker near the header of your blog. I found this one on Eches Blog and it seriously looks amazing if it blends your blog well.Tip 3: Create a Blended Google Custom Search:
This comes from the Young Genius Rishi too. I love the way the guy has implemented and used the full potential of Google Custom Search and applied it on his blog. The search page is totally template blended and doesnt give you even a 1% hint that it is something out of the default template. It actually replaces the Wordpress default search feature by Google Coop which can not only give your readers a Google view of your blog but can also help you generate a good revenue.Tip 4: Make Your Feed Icons More Spicy:
Another great way to spice your blog is to have some sizzling RSS Icons that make your blog look lively and brighten up your blog feeds.Such similar Sizzling and Spicy RSS Icons are found on Enblogopedia created by its author Ibrahim for different sizes of these funky RSS Icons take a look at Connected Internet
I would like to give credit to Eches for the cool AddThis RSS Subscribtion icons that he introduced me to. I also give credit to Eches for the classy hovering subscription feed icon that you can view at his blog on the left.Tip 5: Create an Animated Fav Icon:
TechnoSpot gives us a great example of how to have a spicy looking animated Fav Icon for a BlogTechnoSpot really makes itself stand out when it comes to the classy fav icon. An excellent Innovation Ashish.
Tip 6: Make a Rotating Header Collection:This great innovation comes from my very inspirational Sharique Bhai all over from Serendipity. He has indeed been my very great inspiration when it comes to educational blogs.
At his blog The Rotating Header Collection that he shares is the best way in which one can sizzle up a blog.Share more and More will be Added.
